Brandon put together quite a ride for us. Peter (ktm 690) and I (ktm 890) came out from MB, Brett (husky 501) from Calgary, and we met Brandon (ktm 790) in Vernon and we began our ride from there.

We camped the first night (after being on our bikes for over 12 hrs) at Pettipiece Lake and the other two nights at Trout Lake. It rained all day on our last day so we just jumped on the hwy and headed back to Vernon on the blacktop.

I would love to make it back to the Trout Lake area again sometime. Loads of pretty technical single track are often exposed on the sides of hills. Every trail we went up was a quick ride to the alpine and usually included 20-25 switchbacks to get there.

It was a fun challenge riding some D4/D5 trails with a loaded bike. This was my first motocamping experience and you can bet that I will be doing lots more of this.

Please note: This route is not for beginner riders.
