Mudhunniez' Girls Day Out

I'm one of the co-founders of the Mudhunniez race team and I'm order to propel our vision of setting more women and girls riding dirt bikes, we host some pretty epic events (if I do say so myself!)
This last one was our biggest yet! One day, 107 registered female riders. Mind blown. ????
We usually do 2 ladies' events on Vancouver Island annually - a weekend camp-out in the summer at Whiskey Creek, and this one-day extravaganza in Nanaimo.
Our coaches for the day included:
???? Melissa Harten & Stephen Foord for trail work, obstacles and endurocross
???? Orianna Fraser for motocross track help, cornering, braking
???? Christy Williams Richards with her trials expertise
???? Oli Nicholson with a beginners' fundamentals clinic
???? Jeff Everden of Westshore MX with a fleet of small Hondas for the really new beginners who don't even have their own bike yet. (They'll be hooked after this though!)
This time around, I left the confines of the registration and merch sales booth and for our there to guide some ladies through the hare scramble race loop at the Nanaimo Motocross track!
I'm the morning, I led an intermediate group and after we finished the race loop, we went back in to practice full climbing and descents. Years ago, downhills really rattled me, so it was great to be able to pass along the skills I've acquired along the way to help some other chicks slay these hills!
We had a lunch break with Sutra Foods catering delicious curries, and then went back out for another round of trails, this time with a more novice bunch. I know some of these ladies really excelled beyond their comfort zones and rocked their ride!
When we came back from the trail, we were just in time to complete in our traditional Mudhunniez Panty Race Relay. My team didn't win but we rode the MX track and passed around our granny panties (as the relay baton) like a well oiled machine! ????
