Dirtbag Dodge

1995 Other Ram 2500
Updated 9 months ago
This build was inspired by all the "dirt bag" climbers, mountain bikers, and van lifers we have met through the years who cared more about getting out there than the cost of the gear. Their vehicles were often simple, but the builds took them around the country, and in some cases around the world which they could afford to do since they didn't spend $100,000 on parts.

The Dirtbag Dodge has an 8.1L V10, with 310 HP and 450lb-ft of torque, Dana 70 Axle, with factory gears. It has 3" of lift and 35" tires.

The camper on the back is a Leer contractor shell which we've lined with thinsulate insulation, and built out with a myriad of components from Home Depot and Amazon but secured with grade 8 bolts and plus nuts to the bed. The blue sea power system, fuse block etc has been wired to be compatible with a Jackery 1000 power back until we find we need additional power.
