On this adventure we take some backroads out of Lumby that eventually get us to Watchan Lake, Mosquito Lake, Catherine Lake, and Mt. Fosthall for a proper alpine adventure.
If you decide to go all of the way up to Sol Mountain Loge on Fosthall, consider kicking off the boots and going for a high or run in your trail shoes. It's stunning up there!
You could do this loop in a day, or make it a two day adventure. If you plan to hike at elevation, best to give yourself a half day for that alone!
